    1. Does Hopecube support my browser?
      For the best experience, please access Hopecube with

    2. How do I enable Javascript?
      If certain features in Hopecube aren't working in your browser and your browser is up to date, please check to make sure Javascript is enabled. To enable Javascript, please follow the steps below:
      Internet Explorer:
      • Select Tools from the top menu.
      • Choose Internet Options
      • Click on Security
      • Click Custom Level
      • Scroll down to Scripting
      • Select Enable under Active Scripting and click OK
      Mozilla Firefox:
      • Select Tools from the top menu.
      • Choose Options
      • Choose Web Features
      • Check the box next to Enable JavaScript and click OK

    1. Is Hopecube account free?
      Yes, Hopecube is a completely free service to help people deal with their problems in life.
    2. How do I register for a new account?
      To sign up for a new free account, click here.
    3. Why can't I create an account?
      Your browser's cache or cookies might be causing this error. Try deleting your browser's cookies and temporary internet files, close the browser, and try creating an account again. Make sure you don't add any spaces in your e-mail address.
    4. I can't log in to my account
      Make sure you are typing your username and password correctly. They are cap sensitive, so you have to capitalize the appropriate letter.
    5. How do I delete my account?
      To permanently terminate your Hopecube account, first login to your account and go to your page. Then click on "Profile" to the right of the Edit My. Click on Cancel Account.
    6. Can I change my username?
      We do not allow username change, but you can create a new account and delete the account you do not want.
    7. How do I change my e-mail?
      After logging in, click on My Page, and then click on Profile to the right of the Edit My. Type in your new e-mail address in the Email field and click on Update It on the bottom of the page.
    8. Why do you need my birthday?
      We ask for your birthday because you need to be at least 13 years old to use our service.
    9. Why can't I stay logged in?
      Generally this occurs because your browser does not accept cookies. In order to remain logged in, you must enable your browser to accept cookies.
    10. What if I forget my password?
      If you forget your password, we'll e-mail it to you. Just click on Forgot My Password link under the Sign In box on the front page.

    1. How do I add an avatar on my profile?
      After logging in, click on My Page, and then click on Profile to the right of the Edit My. Click on Browse next to Your Avatar and select an image you want to upload.
    2. How do I contact other members on the site?
      To contact other users, simply go to that person's profile and click on Send a Message
    3. How do I edit My Story?
      To edit My Story, go to My Page and click on Profile to the right of Edit My:.
    4. How do I change my age, gender, birth date, or location?
      To edit your personal information, go to My Page and click on Profile to the right of Edit My:.
    5. How do I add photos to My Page?
      To add photos to your Photo Album, click on the Upload button under your avatar.
    6. How do I add Hope Issues to my account?
      To add new Hope Issues, click on Add in the My Hope Issues module. Then select the issue that you are dealing with and click on Add to your issue list? link on the right side of the page.

    1. How do I meet other people?
      To find other interesting users, click on the Meet People tab on the top. If you know what type of user you are looking for, you can try Search. To browse existing users, click on Browse in the Just Browse module.
    2. When I find someone interesting, how do I add him/her to my friend list?
      To add another user to your friends list, you must first send him/her a Friends Request. To send a Friends Request you need to first log into your account. While viewing the profile of the user you want to add, click on Invite to be a Friend under the Contact module. A request will be sent to that user on your behalf. When that user accepts the request, both of you will see each other in the Networking module.
    3. How do I delete people from my friends list?
      Click on the Remove link under the avatar of the friend you want to remove.
    4. Why does some of my friend's icon in my friends list glow?
      If your friend's icon is glowing, it means he's online browsing Hopecube.
    5. How do I invite people to join Hopecube?
      We're glad you like our service enough to invite your friends! You can tell them about our web address and they can register on our service. You can also send them an invitation e-mail by clicking on the Invite tab at the top of the page.
    6. If I use the address importer to send out invitations, will my friends get spammed?
      No! We hate spam as much as you do! We do not save your imported address book on our server so the only e-mail your friends will receive is your invitation.
    7. Why should I send someone an encouragement message?
      Hopecube is a place for people who need support. If another member is having a bad day, a simple encouragement will brighten up his day.
    8. What is the Network Bulletin?
      Network Bulletin is a fast and easy way to send a message to all the friends in your friend list. When you post a bulletin, everyone in your friend list will receive the bulletin. Network bulletins can't be deleted and they expire after 15 days.

    1. Who are the doctors listed on Hopecube and how are they related to the site?
      The doctors on Hopecube are just like you. They use Hopecube to facilitate communications between each other and with their patients. Hopecube does not endorse the services of any doctor you find on our site.
    2. I have an excellent doctor, should I invite him to Hopecube?
      Yes please! By doing so, you are helping other members of the Hopecube community find good doctors.

    1. How do I find the issue I am concerned with?
      There are three ways to search issues. 1) Use the Search function to the right of the page. 2) Browse for the issue alphabetically. 3) Browse for the issue by category.
    2. What if I can't find the issue I am concerned with?
      Dealing with an issue but can't find it in our Health Issues list? Suggest the issue to us and we will add it!
    3. Your definition of health issues is quoted from Wikipedia. Isn't Wikipedia inaccurate?
      The content of Wikipedia is user generated so it is possible that the information is inaccurate. Please do not use Wikipedia or Hopecube as a tool for self-diagnosis. Always consult a doctor about your medical concerns!

    1. How does Get Answers work?
      Our Get Answers feature works by leveraging the cumulative knowledge of the Hopecube community. When you post a question, helpful members of the site can contribute their insight to help you narrow down an answer.
    2. How do I ask a question?
      Before asking a new question, try Search for it. Maybe someone on the site asked the same question and received a good answer.
    3. How do I answer a question?
      Know the question to an answer? Lend a helping hand by answering it! To answer a question, click on the question link and type in your answer in the box on the bottom of the page.
    4. What does marking a question as "Interesting" do?
      Marking a question as Interesting is like book-marking the question. This allows you to keep track of the answers a particular question is receiving and also allows you to share your interest with your network of friends.
    5. Why is there a voting option for the answers?
      Since the answers submitted are not monitored by licensed professionals, it is up to the community to pool its knowledge together in order to pinpoint the most accurate/helpful answer. Please remember these votes are cast by non-medical professionals, so please do not view the result as medical advice.
    6. How do I know if the answer I received is correct?
      Hopecube is a source of support and a platform for exchange of ideas. The Get Answers function is not intended to act as medical advice, so please do not use it as such. Always consult your doctor if you have medical concerns!

    2. Is Hopecube anonymous?
      Yes Hopecube is completely anonymous. You do not need to submit any personal information to us that can identify who you are and we never share or sell your information to anyone else! As long as you do not give out your identity information, you are completely anonymous.
    3. Who can view my profile on Hopecube? What information is displayed?
      You can choose to make your profile public or private. Public profiles can be viewed by anyone browsing on Hopecube. Someone visiting your public profile can see your gender, age, approximate location, photo gallery, health issues you're interested, questions you marked as interesting, social network, your personal story, and your blog. If you mark you profile as private, the only thing that will be displayed is your avatar.
    4. How do I set my profile to "private"?
      After logging in, click on My Page, and then click on Profile to the right of Edit My:. Change Profile Status to Private under Profile Information.
    5. Can other members see my e-mail address?
      No, we keep your e-mail address confidential.
    6. How do I protect my privacy on Hopecube?
      Your privacy is very important to us! To ensure that your identity is completely protected, we do not ask for your real name and address to create a new account. The only thing we need from you is a working e-mail address.

    1. What is a blog? Why should I start one?
      A blog is an online journal that you can update at anytime. You can use it to share your day-to-day experiences, vent your frustrations, build community, and engage in an online dialog with strangers.
    2. How do I start a blog on Hopecube?
      We made the blog entry system incredibly easy to use! To post a new blog, simply log into your account, go to your page, and click on Post a new blog under the Blog module.
    3. How do I edit my blog?
      You can edit you blog from "My Page" or in the "Blog" tab. To edit your blog from "My Page", simply scroll over the blog entry you want to edit and click to enter the "edit" mode. To edit your blog from the "Blog" tab, click on the "Edit" button under your user name in the blog you want to edit.
    4. How do I read other people's blog?
      You can view another user's blog by reading it on his profile. On the profile, only 200 words from each entry are displayed. To read the entire blog, please click on "View All" under his "Blog" module.
