My 22 yr old son,has a long history of epilepsy. The last 4 have been life-Threating.He went seizure free for 9yrs,but had a bad one 4yrs ago.He is only Mild to Moderate handi-cap.But this last seizure, his bahavior has gotten worse along with other health problem,i am worried that all the meds he is on is going to make him go down hill faster. It is taking a toll.I need advice on what to do.
Answers
Research all the meds he's on, looking for drug interaction warnings and possible side effects of each drug. If you find something that looks like what is happening to him, sit down with his doctor and discuss your concerns. If doctor's not willing to have an open communication and listen to what you have to say, it's time for a new doctor.
