Does anyone know what treatment there is for lupus?

I know someone who has lupus and she won't go to a doctor because she has been abused by so many doctors and now refuses to go for help. Does anyone know what she could do for herself at home?
Answers
It is best to get prescription corticosteroids from a doctor to control lupus. Use of corticosteroids can cause a lot of side effects like muscle weakness, osteoporosis, fluid retention, weight gain, etc., so it's best to be monitored by a doctor. If her case is severe, she will need DMARDs and cytotoxic drugs to treat her symptoms. Please try to talk her into going to the doctor. Maybe go in with her.
If she still refuses to see the doctor, these are some things that can help her:
-Balancing rest with exercise -Maintaining a healthy diet -Over the counter nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin and ibuprofen.
I did a little research for you and it seems like Omega-3 oil can potentially help with reducing the symptoms of Lupus.
