I keep going to bed early but I can't fall asleep for like 2 hours. I just turn and move until I fall asleep. Anyway to fall asleep faster?

If you don't want to rely on sleeping pills like Ambien, you can try herbal products like valerian root. Supposedly warm milk helps too. Try to relax and think about really boring things when you're trying to fall asleep.
Don't have caffiene 2hrs before you go to bed. Try not to have a lot of stimulation TV, videos, etc before bed time. Think about a peaceful place. Use visualization to some quiet earth sounds. That might help.
Maybe your problem is that you try to bed too early? Perhaps thats not your sleep cycle. Try to have a bed routine, I like drinking chamomile tea and reading a good book.
I have the same problem whenever I'm too stressed out thinking about a lot of things. One thing that works for me whenever I have this problem is to think about a nice, quiet view, or imagine things that are to dreamy. Do the fantasy and imagination routine and have less thinking of reality.
I've been trying to count as far as possible... but i always get annoying when i get around 50 and get excited for some reason. Thinking about peaceful places helped! Thanks
Oh ye I have that too. No matter when I go to bed it still takes 2 or 3 hours to fall asleep. I just think of something nice. Just find your happy place :)
Just find out what makes you really tired. I always do my homework or draw or something at night because litererary thing make me tired.. I like writing but if I do it at night I practically fall unconciouse in 20 minutes! If you like to move around and that makes you tired then run around before going to bed. At a descent time of course:)
Like Euphoria-koiobito, I suggest you read those 2 hours... if anything, it'll improve your vocabulary (not that you need any improvement). Try going to bed two hours earlier so that by the time you originally planned to be asleep, you are. So, if you usually go to bed at 10 or 11 pm, try going at 8 or 9 and read a few chapters of an educational book (boring books are better to fall asleep to)... by 10 or 11 you'll be asleep.

Rescue Sleep may work for YOU!
I'm telling you... I've never tried Rescue Sleep, but I've tried Rescue Remedy (which is for anxiety and a lot more) and it worked instantly. I mean it. Instantly. It absorbs in your tongue, goes into your bloodstream and straight to your brain. It's a gift from God, if you ask me. Truly a phenomenal product! I haven't bought it yet, but I really need it! Maybe you should try it. It's worth a try and their are absolutely no side-affects and you could swallow the whole bottle even and still nothing would happen. Well, I hope this has helped you.
i listen to really quiet, orchestral-like music(no words) and that causes me to fall asleep fast. the music keeps your mind from thinking, and no words keeps you from singing along. try listening to music, and when you get tired enough, just rip out the headphones and thrown the player on the floor, in the next 5 minutes, i'm fast asleep. ^^
