asked by flower-mommy@hotmail.com on 28 November 2007 20:37
i was taken from my mother at 6 months old and raised partially by my abductors and partially by the state and i recently found my family but they all hate eachother and i am finding being neutral is not working i feel that i am being forced to choose sides and i am not sure how to do that. i dont trust my mother and feel she is being unfair but at the same time i have only the word of my other family members to go on and i am determined to make my family better...... is this futile????? should i just choose a side?????? i have never had a family before and the only thing i know is violence and abuse. i c that on both sides but am so lost on how to handle these things...... how do you handle this stuff?????? i am a very honest person most think im mean when they first meet me and i am trying hard not to offend i feel like such an outsider like its not my right to be a part of all this please help with any advice
