I can't let go...
asked by Lonely_Cloud on 26 September 2007 12:11
16 years down the line...looking at the past of my 4th year in life, i start to think "what would it be like if she was with me?".
my sister never came to earth and i feel sorry for her, i cannot let go of the past and all these mixed feelings became stronger and stronger.
i'm about to break. i usually let it all out by uncontrollable tears down my face. how can i stop this past?

My past haunts me every day, things I did, things that happened to me. I have the scares on my arm and body that I see every day to remind me (of both a very near fatal car accident and from cutting). You try to run away but it always catches up to you. Over time I've just had to face it which is very hard to do. Talking it out does really help but while you are doing it, it can be really painful though afterwards it feels like a weight has been lifted. It doesn't make your past disappear, but you become okay with it, you know it was your past but now you have to live for your future and live a good life despite your past.
Wow that sounds painful. There's nothing you can do to change the past, so the only thing you can do is to let go. But before you let go, you have to talk out the problem, kind of doing it to a therapist. You can either blog about it or message me privately. I'll be here for you.
I think its better to forget everything... But I didnt figure out how cause I have problems to.I cant talk about it at the moment cause I had a rough day.I really want to help you cause you know how it feels to be depressed and you seem to be a very nice person. You care about what happened to your sister and not much persons do that. Ill think about it tonight and I hope I can help you. Cheers, nadieh
