Normal to feel this bad about being single?
asked by Veightwo on 14 May 2008 23:17
I've tried my chance at love many times over the years, now I'm 25 and still single, I've always gotten the same answer.. "I'm sorry". Recently I've noticed that I'm feeling worst and worst about this, mainly because some of my friends are finding girlfriends, including my younger brother. and he's not very social it's only his second attempt.
The bigger problem is that i feel really bad about this, to the point where I'm having trouble sleeping and feel physical sickness. Is this normal? Am I insane for looking up at the sky and yelling curses to whoever or whatever might be listening? How can i be happy for them instead of feeling angry or sad?

NO THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT OR U MAYBE U JUST NEED SOME TIME FOR YOUR SELF IVE BEEN SINGLE FOR 2 YEARS I DO HAVE BAD DAYS WHERE I FEEL ALONE BUT I KEEP MY HEAD UP TRUST ME YOU CAN DO IT JUST KEEP BUSY AND YOUR ANSWERS WILL COME TAKE CARE
If you ask me, there's nothing really wrong with the way you're feeling. I think most people long to be with someone special in their life, and as you get older, you kinda long for it even more, as you start to realize how beautiful love is and how special it is when it's with your one and only soul mate in the world. As for being happy for other people, I don't think there's an easy answer for that, but I think that when the time comes, you'll find someone special in your life, and I'm certain your friends will be really happy for you, so in the meantime, you should at least try, I know it's difficult, but do at least try your best to be happy for them as they would be for you.
