Too harsh?

asked by Exmortis on 15 December 2007 2:00

A really close friend of mine died of cancer a couple of months ago and I turned into a wreck. We were in love but I was never really in a relationship with her. I was a mess for the next two weeks and I kept taking it out on my best friend. I'd argue with her a lot and say some hurtful things. We had several arguments in those two weeks, until she decided she had enough. She told me that she hated me, that I was scum, and that she wanted to puke at the sight of me. I apologized and I literally begged her to understand my situation during those two weeks but she wouldn't have it. She basically ended our friendship. Now I ask, doesn't anyone think it was too harsh to end our friendship? This has destroyed my spirit.

Whoops, I forgot to sign in before I made that first post here. Anyway, just wanted to let you know it was me in case there's ever anything else you'd like to talk about.
