my daughter is only seven and she has adhd too and i know what you mean we tried to get help for her but I've gotta be honest it was for my husband and i too sometimes i feel like i could rip my hair out. we have tried medication several of them actually and nothing seemed to work we had her go phsyciatrist and that didn't help. they tell you to be consistent that it will help but it seems like nothing helps you are not alone
I have ADHD & so do 3 of my cousins, they have gotten allot better with age. But ADHD plus puberty is HELL. I've not only experianced it but I've seen it from my cousins. Irrational behavior, obsessing, etc... Teens with ADHD are more likely to get involved in early sexual acts & drugs (at least with what I've seen & experianced) so hang in there & be strong your going to need allot of support.
Sounds like your son is having behavioral problems. Can you be more specific with the symptoms that he's displaying? We will definitely need more info to give you any useful input.
