Why are migraines so frequently?

I have had migraines for 10 years...why do they come so frequent?

I just started having migraines. About a month ago I was hospitalized for depression and I had a migraine that lasted for four days. I have been having them quite frequently now. I always prided myself because I never got headaches. I know how frustrating it can be because they can't find what is causing mine. I am also on medication for depression which prevents me from taking many of the meds that fight migraines. So I'm kinda stuck. I don't know the answer to this.
