why is suicide not in the bible?

I have a great bible that has "helps" i the back. If you can think of a word, and if the bible has it anywhere, it will tell you where to find it. suicide is not in there. If it is considered the "unforgivable sin" why can't I find anything on it. I've attemped 3 times in the past, and there isn't one day that goes by that I don't think about it again. I think God knows my heart, and will forgive me. He knows my pain both physical and mental. How could he not understand?

Suicide was mentioned in the Bible 7 times. The word suicide wasn't used so looking for "suicide" is not going to yield any results. Here's a link to a website about suicide in the Bible:

The Bible never talked about suicide as the unforgivable sin. It is a sin nontheless, since it violates some rules that God handed down, such as love your body, etc. Next time you feel down about God not understanding, read the Gospels again. Jesus is the most understanding man the world has ever seen. He pities the plight of humanity and he forgives all sins.
Suicide is one of the unforgivable sin. Why? Because you cannot repent for the sin of killing yourself.
