I've been on meds to keep my ADD under control. Does anyone know if there's anything I can do to help my ADD without resorting to meds?

My son is 14 and they say he has adhd but for the past 9 years we have tried everything I can find to try and help him nothing work,meds only for a short period,diet didn't help i think there ...

I HAVE TWO CHILDREN AGES 7 AND 10 THEY BOTH HAVE ADHD BUT THE 10 YEAR OLD ALSO HAS SPECIFIC LEARNING DISABILITIES. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT AND TRANSITION PROBLEMS?
