Social Anxiety Disorder - I was always the quiet kid in school, mainly because I never fit in with anybody. Because my classmates took advantage of me, I learned to distrust strangers and try to stay away from them, because I'd get very nervous and frightened. Today it doesn't affect me as much, because I can go to my college classes without panicing, but I don't like to be too close to strangers that are much older than me.

Depression - Ever since late middle school, I believe I have had depression. All my good friends moved away and I was unable to make new ones, so I was amazed when I made it my senior year. I was diagnosed with depression about a month before Graduation, and I was sure I'd do better after I got out of school. However, as college drew nearer, I got more and more depressed. Finally, I had to be put in the hospital. After getting help and a therapist, I worked everything out so that I can live a happy lifestyle. Even now I may get a bit depressed, but I always have my mom there to support me.
