atmbroke's Story
I am married with 5 children. I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder as well as ptsd. I recently have been diagnosed with cervical cancer. Since February of 2001, I have been fighting the bipolar. Just last summer we were able to get my meds stabilized. But with the recent diagnosis of cervical cancer, I have slipped into a really bad depression and nothing is helping. I am lucky to have a wonderful husband who is constantly trying to get me to do things that make me laugh. He was the one that suggested I look online for a support group. Our youngest is autistic as well. So lately, I just feel like I can't deal with anymore. My husband suggested going on line to hear other people's stories and maybe that would help. So here I am!

Wow! Summer break has really flown by. I think that I have spent at least 60% of it in doctors offices. I am excited about not having any doctor's appointments this week. My goal for the week is to make it through the weekend without stressing over little things - so everyone check on me on Monday! My husband actually has a Saturday off. Yeah! I have really slipped to a low that I haven't had in a while. Last summer we finally got my meds stablized since being diagnosed in 2001. But this March, 2 days before my birthday, I found out I had cervical cancer. I have been going through several surgeries and will be having a hysterectomy. I can't stop crying. I feel so alone. I just want to smile...
