- Depression - Although I am a fairly optimistic person, I have bouts with depression from time to time.
- Cardiac Arrhythmia - I get PVC (skipped heartbeat) often, mostly after caffeine and alcohol consumption. EKG results were normal but I'm going to get diagnosed soon to see if I have mitral valve prolapse.
- Cancer - Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma - A good friend of mine passed away from lymphoma last year. He's the first death I've ever experienced in my life and that changed my perspective of life completely. Rest in Peace Katsu.
- Stress - I am constantly under a lot of stress. The uncertainly and instability of self-employment makes everyday both exciting and stressful.
- Cancer - Colon - My friend and mentor Stan has been battling colon cancer for the past few years. He is the strongest and most upbeat person I know so I'm sure he'll beat the disease again and again.
gemusan's Story
My name is George and I am the founder of this site. I've never really thought about health much since I've been pretty healthy for most of my life. However, a good friend of mine passed away from cancer in 2006 and that changed my perspective of the world. There isn't much I can do to cure people's diseases, but I hope this site can help people cope with their problems.
Please send me your thoughts on how to improve the site!

I went to play tennis with my wife today. It wasn't intensive at all but I started to get PVCs soon after. Argh! It seems like anything and everything can trigger an arrhythmia episode. What's next? Watching TV? - Depressed? How to Feel Better in 6 Simple Steps! - Tue, August 07, 2007 - [view]
