- Bipolar Disorder - I was diagnosed on Thanksgiving after going on a drunken bender and wrecking my van into a telephone pole. I spent 6 days in the "hospital" and came out with an explanation for my tendencies and a prescription. I am feeling much better now...but I would like to get to know more about my disorder.
hcbertsch's Story
I was recently diagnosed as bipolar and it has been a huge relief to finally get treatment for this disorder. I used to wonder where all of my strange quirks came from. I wasn't the totally "manic" person I have heard described. I was more hypomanic. It was all of the crappy things about this disorder with none of the "highs". Instead I would just get irritable and moody. Right now I am on Invega and Paxil. It has been about a month and I feel much better.
