I am a grandmother to 2 babies, a boy & a girl. They are only 10 weeks apart, she was a preemie. But now they are growing every day. I am a mother to 5 kids, 2 of my own & then my husband has 3. So we are like the Brady Bunch...lol I used to be a workaholic until I got sick in March of 2006, we thought I had a stroke. On May 1, 2006 we found out I have Multiple Sclerosis. We are not sure how long I've had it though because of the progression. Plus I'm not responding to anything to slow it down. I have already gone through the CRAB medicines and then onto Tysabri. I got through 1 and 1/2 treatments & I had to quit because I was allergic. Then I was on Cytoxan for 7 months and recently found out that the lesions are still there shining bright and starting to grow. So now I'm off of that and pondering starting Novantrone. I've heard good things about that from other people but I'm still leary at the moment. I think I am still trying to get over the fact that nothing is helping yet. I have been healthy my whole life until now & this is a shocker to say the least.
