I dealt with a gambling addiction for about 8 years before finally seeking treatment at an inpatient facility in South Carolina.  It was truly one of the best experiences of my life.  I have 5 months of sobriety.  But until the last week everything was just floating along as it had prior to going to treatment.  Part of the focus there was about my life being different when I came home- and part of that might mean moving on to a different job.  Well, my "higher power" decided to move that along- I was let go from my job last week.  I was there for 4 years.  It's a little traumatizing.  But I'm going to get through it….
